Old Convent Nursing Home seeks local Care Assistant with a friendly disposition and a warm heart to help look after our elderly residents.
We pride ourselves on providing a safe, clean and comfortable home-from-home environment where we care responsively and effectively for each resident like a dearly-loved member of our own family. We are passionate about this and our ethos is Care with Compassion & Commitment.
If this describes your approach to people, your normal behaviour and your natural life values, then you could fit well into our very caring team!
Previous hands-on experience is preferred but is not essential whilst the special qualities mentioned above are considered to be very important! You would need to be well-presented, conscientious, a skilled communicator when speaking or writing, capable with numbers and comfortable when using a computer. Some understanding and knowledge of dementia would also be useful.
Working with us, you would provide our residents with the very highest standards of care whilst supporting them in every possible way to meet their individual needs.
